FOR NEARLY THIRTY YEARS WE HAVE CALLED OUT INJUSTICE AND ABUSE OF HUMAN RIGHTS LOCALLY AND GLOBALLY

When Australia needed to hear the calls from our First Nations for recognition of their rights and reconciliation in the 1990s and support for the Uluru Statement from the Heart in this century the Edmund Rice Centre responded. When our government was deporting people who came to Australia in search of security and safety back to the danger – the Edmund Rice Centre called this injustice out. When our brothers and sisters in the Pacific called for solidarity in the face of the existential threat of climate change and for climate justice the Edmund Rice Centre stood beside them. We have done this by mobilising our local, regional and global networks and resources to advocate for social justice.  We want to do more but to do so, we need your support.
